Calpex 2025 has just started, and we are on the ground in Taipei with eyes on all the latest gadgets in the computer world. Unsurprisingly, AI is everywhere, with a general leveling theme on the gains made in the past year with regard to treatment power, energy efficiency and new generation NPUs.
NVIDIA and AMD have announced new GPU respectively, with the GeForce RTX 5060 series and the Radeon RX 9060 XT series, and Intel has teased its new “Panther Lake” processors, as well as some of the first aircraft to wear new fleas.

But it is not only laptops and computers under the spotlight. We have seen new fascinating game hand computers, a split keyboard from Asus and an intelligent ring at a competitive price from Acer which targets the most expensive models – the first of the type of computer giant.
1. The new GPUROCE RTX 5060 GPU from NVIDIA
During Nvidia’s opening speech, CEO Jensen Huang made a few announcements: first, that the company will extend the roots to Taiwan with its new headquarters in the Beitou Shilin scientific park in Taipei. But perhaps more relevant for consumers was the release of the GeForce RTX 5060, its latest GPU at a competitive price based on the Blackwell architecture of Nvidia.

Asus’ Tuf A18 – The first 18 -inch model in the range of sustainable and affordable games – includes the new RTX 5060 associated with an AMD Ryzen 7,260 processor. This makes it one of the most affordable 18 -inch laptops of play with this new level of equipment, armed with a 2.5K, 240 Hz screen and a Dual PCIE 4.0 SSD of 2.5K for a competitive start price of $ 1599.
At the other full end of the spectrum is the new Razer Blade 14The thinnest and lightest Razer blade at 0.62 inches, army of the new NVIDIA GPU, an AMD Ryzen 9 AI 365 and an OLED 3K screen. Despite the highest -end equipment, Razer’s approach is not to do the most powerful game laptop on the market, but an elegant device for the office that can Moonlight as a portable game mayor after hours.
The Razer Blade 14 was not exposed to Computex, but its announcement was synchronized with the opening of Nvidia, from $ 2,699.
2. The divided keyboard of Asus Rog for players

The connector cable that joins the two rooms is a little annoying, in my opinion, but I do not see how it could be designed elsewhere without a second Bluetooth connection. Falcata will be released in the summer of 2025, although prices are not yet available.
3. Acer launches an intelligent budget for the budget
One of the biggest problems with smart rings is their cost, both in terms of the device itself and dreaded subscription costs. Acer is the last entrant to the smart rings market with a device that solves these two problems: a competitive price around $ 199 and no subscription.
The Smart Ring Titanium is available in seven sizes in black or pink gold, has four days of battery life and offers basic health measures that you would find in the aircraft of competitors such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels and, of course, the quality of sleep, without many additional bells and whistles.

There will always be a market for more high -end smart rings, such as the Oura Ring 4 or the Ultrahuman Ring Air, but the most accessible end of the spectrum still has a lot of space for devices around the $ 200 bar. Personally, I can’t wait to go by hand with Acer’s smart ring when available in the summer of 2025.
4. Laptops of play
MSI announced its claw 8 AI + to these this year and was one of the best pocket computers that we tested for its life of the exceptional battery life and its 80 -inch and 120 Hz display powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258B processor. At Computex, MSI has shown its laptop at the following iterants: the A8 claw with an Extreme AMD Ryzen Z2 processor, a massive battery of 80 Wh and up to 24 GB of memory – slightly less than the 32 GB in the 8 AI +label.

Continuing with the AMD trend, the new Zotac zone The workforce has a Ryzen AI 9 hx 370 processor and up to 32 GB of memory on a 7-inch and 120 Hz AMOLED screen. Interesting, it also works on Linux, using what Zotac calls the “launcher” for games, settings and platforms in one place.
The pocket computer is also unique in what it has two trackpads just below the joysticks and has a camera and a front-facing microphone for streaming or leap on communications without the need for a helmet. This highly anticipated pocket computer is currently in development, without release date.
5. Intel tease new “panther lake” processors
NVIDIA is not the only company to have new equipment. Intel responds to the performance of competitors with its own next generation of fleas, nicknamed “Panther Lake”, focused on improving the high energy efficiency of its Lunar Lake processors.
Intel demonstrated its new processors at Computex, positioning them as the successor of its previous generation of lunar lake chips by emphasizing the improvement of efficiency and power performance, appearing in consumption devices at the beginning of 2026.
Some of the first laptops to present the Panther Lake processors from Intel come from MSI, which has developed a whole new range of consumption productivity devices specifically for new Intel chips.

These new laptops are a new approach to the manufacturer, because the thinnest MSI laptops have ever created, sporting 14 and 16 inch OLED screens, a variety of colors and a 24 -hour battery life. The AI is, of course, in the center and the center, MSI telling me that they are designed for the workloads of the AI, whose new Intel chips will bring more energy and performance.
Until now, MSI has only called them “new generation commercial laptops and productivity”, but more details should be to come, and they should come to the United States at the start of 2026, with mid-range prices to the upper-Milieu range.
