The First Descendant has finally arrived, with the free-to-play looker now available on PS5 and PS4. As a live game, players can expect regular content updates, additions, and plenty of cosmetic skins to play with. Nexon has revealed some of the stylish costumes that engaged Descendants can expect to don.
With a peak of 229,257 players on day one on Steam alone, it seems like this visually impressive game could be a hit, provided there’s something to be excited about. On Twitter, The First Descendant account has revealed a sneak peek at what players can expect, and you can bet it’s full of school uniforms and various anthropomorphic animal-themed outfits.
A more explicit roadmap has also surfaced, with French-language outlet PressePlay confirming its veracity. Twitter account TFDalert posted a preview, suggesting that interested players have a lot to look forward to in what happens next.
An update in early August will introduce a new Descendant, Luna, and a new Colossus, Gluttony, among other things. In late August, a similar Descendant/Colossus combo, a new weapon, a dungeon, and the implementation of seasonal progression and mission completion will also be on the agenda. Then, a raid-style Mega Dungeon will be released in early December, along with more Descendants.
