The National Women’s Soccer League Savy King star was emergency in a local hospital after collapsing on the field in the second half of Angel City’s match against the Utah Royals on Friday evening.
King collapsed in the 74th minute at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, with health professionals who immediately went to his side.
The 20 -year -old was worked for about 10 minutes before being transported from the field and transported to a local hospital.
Angel City said early Saturday morning that the defender was “reactive”.
“Savy King Update: Savy was transported by EMS to the hospital after a medical event in the field. It is reactive and undergoes a more in -depth assessment. We thank everyone for their concern and their support, “said Angel City in a social media statement.
After the match, Angel City and the Royals gathered for an post-match prayer, with Alex Loera, who was teammates with King At Bay FC last season, leading the group.

The Royals head coach Jimmy Coenraets said that after the match, he was not sure that he should have continued after King’s injury.
