Portland, Oregon. (Katu) – The Food and Drug Administration of the United States (FDA) has raised the recall of certain Cal Yee Farms chocolate products to class 1 status, the highest risk level, according to the agency.
The recall, initially announced on December 12, includes dark chocolate nuts, almonds coated with yogurt and butter caramel, which can contain allergens such as “unconvolved milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD & C # 6 and almonds “.
The affected products have been distributed in nine states, including OregonCalifornia, Arizona, Virginie, New Mexico, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to Cal Yee Farms.

The FDA application report for the week of January 29 said that the recall now included dark chocolate, dark chocolate almonds and dark chocolate apricots. These elements have been classified as class 1, indicating “a reasonable probability that the use or exposure to a violating product will result in serious unfavorable consequences for health or death”, according to the FDA.
Cal Yee Farms said in their initial advertisement that the recall had followed an FDA inspection of their facilities.
“No disease has been reported in the context of the products recalled,” said the company.
Customers with milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD & C # 6 and allergy or almond sensitivity that purchased affected products should not consume and eliminate or make them for reimbursement complete.
