The FBI then replied that the American flight in Mexico stands out for Texas after a “security problem”

A “security concern” prompted a flight heading to Mexico from the Minneapolis region to pour out to El Paso, Texas on Wednesday, officials announced.

More details on what caused Sun Country Airlines flight 593 to make an unexpected stop in El Paso were not immediately clear. The airline said the plane landed without incident.

The plane “was diverted to El Paso from an abundance of prudence in response to a security problem,” he said in a statement.

All the passengers went down from the plane safely and were insured at night, he said.

El Paso’s FBI office said in a statement on X that it answered the El Paso International Airport, but has published a few other details.

“Around 4:15 p.m., the MST, the FBI El Paso was informed by our partners at El Paso International Airport and the FBI national threat operating center of a diverted plane heading to El Paso, Texas, Minneapolis,” said FBI El Paso Special Agent John Morales in the declaration.

El Paso office staff responded to the airport to “help our partners and ensure the safety of passengers and the driving team aboard the plane,” said Morales.

The flight was heading for Minneapolis International Airport – Paul Paul to the Côteière Côteière City in Mazatlán, Sun Country Airlines said.

“We are working with the police to fully investigate the situation and assess the validity of the concern,” said the airline.
