The FBI stops a woman from Washington’s state in the mortal shot of the border patrol agent of Vermont

The FBI said on Friday that he arrested a Washington state woman during the deadly shot of an American border patrol agent in Vermont this week.

Teresa Youngblut, 21, was charged on Monday in the murder of the border patrol agent, David Maland, the FBI, noting that Youngblut and a German man who died during the fire that also killed the Maland had been Under surveillance for several days preceding the confrontation.

Maland arrested Youngblut and Felix Baukholt on the Interstate 91 in Coventry on Monday because Baukholt seemed to have an expired visa, according to an Affidavit of the FBI. During the judgment, Youngblut opened its doors on Maland and other officers and Baukholt tried to shoot a weapon but was shot, said the Affidavit. At least one border agent shot Youngblut and Baukholt, but the authorities did not specify whose bullets struck who.

Investigators had been carrying out a “periodic surveillance” of the pair since January 14 after an employee in an hotel where they stayed reported concerns about the fact that Youngblut wore a firearm and the two with all black tactical equipment. Investigators tried to question them, but the pair refused to have a prolonged conversation and said they were in the region that sought to buy a property.

About two hours before the shooting, the investigators watched Baukholt release a Walmart in Newport with two packets of aluminum paper. According to the affidavit, he was seen wrapping unidentifiable objects while he was sitting in the passenger seat.

Authorities then found a ballistic helmet, night vision glasses, respirators and ammunition in the car, as well as a set of shooting targets, some of which were used. They also found bidirectional radios, a dozen “electronic devices”, travel and accommodation information for several states and an apparent newspaper.
