The father of the 17 -year -old boy accused of having fatally stabbed a rival during a Texas track meeting issued a faithful defense of his son and insists that he is a “good child”.
Karmelo Anthony was arrested for suspicion of murder after the shocking incident, in which Austin Metcalf, also 17 years old, was stabbed in a fight at a siege at the Kuykendall stadium in Frisco.

Anthony would have been informed that he was seated in the bad seat at the track competition, before pulling a knife and stabbing Metcalf in the chest while his identical twin brother was looking.
Metcalf’s father, Jeff, also said, questioning the education of the alleged killer, asking: “What kind of parents did this child?” What did he taught?
The brother of victim Hunter recalled the heartbreaking incident, saying to WFAA: “I tried to whisk as quickly as possible … I looked at my brother and I will not talk about the rest. I tried to help him.
Hunter then called his parents, who rushed alongside Austin but did not find him breathed.

Anthony, an elder from Frisco Centennial High School, is detained in unrelated Collin County prison.
“Uil is deeply saddened by the tragic incident which took place during the district competition of the 11-5A district on April 2 at the Kuykendall stadium in Frisco ISD,” the school district said in a statement.
“Uil staff are in communication with district officials to provide support and assistance during this period … Our thoughts go to those who have been affected.”
After the incident occurred, the competition was suspended, the stadium was “immediately assured” and the students were returned to their original campuses, according to Frisco officials.
