Carlos Mac Allister, father of the Liverpool star Alexis, gave an update on the future of the midfielder in Anfield.
Mac Allister, 26, has shone for the Reds in the past two years since he participated in Brighton for a first prize of 35 million pounds Sterling in 2023, adding 24 objectives in 90 games.
The Argentinian, who won the World Cup in 2022, was an integral part of the Arne Slot team this season, playing 30 of the 31 Premier League games while they end on the title of Premier League.
However, the good form of Mac Allister saw it linked to major clubs across Europe, including Real Madrid, which comes after the 26 -year -old sent social media to a frenzy in December when he admitted that he could see himself in Spain one day.
When asked by a potential future in Laliga, Mac Allister replied: “Yes, why not?”
“It is a country that I like a lot and I have visited it several times and, above all, because of language and culture, it is very similar to Argentina. I would certainly like to play in Spain one day.

Carlos said that Alexis was “ very happy ” in Liverpool and that he would not start anytime soon
“But right now, I’m very comfortable in Liverpool and I don’t think about what could happen in the future.”
And his father has now talked about these liniga ties and poured cold water on rumors.
“For the moment, I don’t think (leaving Liverpool),” he told Picado TV, an Argentinian chain. Time will tell us. Alexis is very happy where he is. He lives in Manchester, and on the block where he lives is Robertson, Gomez and four pies of Licha houses (Lisandro) Martinez.
“Alexis speaks well English, understands the rules of the game and converse with people.
“I think it was the best thing he had, and that is why the adaptation was easier.”
Carlos, a former Boca Juniors and Argentine star who acts with the representative of Alexis, also knew his first meeting with the former boss of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, before the arrival of Mac Allister two years ago.
He came after shining during the three and a half seasons in Brighton, with the initial costs of 35 million pounds sterling – which came to a liberation clause – resembling a good deal.
“The first meeting was with me to explain what he saw in Alexis and why he wanted it,” added Carlos. “We had a very nice conversation there.

He also told his first meeting with Jurgen Klopp before Alexis signed for Liverpool
“When we talked at this first meeting, I don’t speak English and there was a translator who works at the club. He asked me (sic) what I saw after (Liverpool) losing 5-2 against Real Madrid (in February 2023), and I told him that they had a major problem because players must understand that you are marking the way you do.
“The translator saw me and told me that I couldn’t tell him that, and I told him to tell him because I was going to explain it.
“Then I told her in English, and Klopp asked me what I meant. I told him to get on them, to catch them, to push them, to hug them and that you cannot score two meters, which is why they conceded five goals.
Carlos continued: “He looked at me and told me that I was right, that he was going to stick to this definition. It was then that we started to establish a relationship with him.
“We got back again, and he called Alexis to tell him that he was happy, and so much so that he publicly recognized what Alexis is.
Mac Allister, who is under contract until 2028 and also won 38 ceilings for Argentina, is back in action on Sunday when Liverpool welcomes West Ham, with the Reds at 11 Arsenal points with seven games to play.
