The Los Angeles County Prosecutor’s Office decided not to file a complaint against Kim Delaney and her husband, James Morgan, after an incident of domestic violence between the couple.
A spokesperson said on Tuesday on page six: “Our office refused to file a complaint against Kim Delaney and James Morgan due to insufficient evidence.”
Prosecutor Nathan Hochman also confirmed that no accusation would be filed. He adds: “If additional evidence or witnesses emerge during the investigation, this decision can be reconsidered.”
A Delaney representative did not immediately send our request for comments on the decision.
The last update comes three days after the alum “NYPD Blue” was arrested on Saturday morning following a report that she and Morgan entered a “stormy argument which became physical”.
Sources of application of the law then gave more details on what would have been transpired between the pair.
A source told TMZ that Delaney and Morgan have been arguing since Friday evening, which prompted the alum “CSI: Miami” to submit a domestic violence report to the police that evening.
Delaney would have called the Sheriff’s Department of the County of Los Angeles the next morning when her husband returned to their residence.
However, Morgan told the police that his wife had actually tried to overthrow him with his vehicle shortly before the authorities arrived by source. He would have shown the cops a video as proof.
Following a brief investigation, Delaney was reserved for assault crime with a deadly weapon and Morgan was arrested for a battery of crimes.
Despite the violent incident, the married couple appeared Lovey-Dvey on social networks earlier this month.
Delaney posted via Instagram a close photo of her and Morgan meeting together on March 13, writing in the legend, “Pure Love ❤️ #Lucky #Grateful.”
She also wrote alongside a photo of them on October 12, 2024: “A magnificent 2nd wedding anniversary !!! 10/11. And now the anniversary weekend! Great Souvenirs! I love you, my husband, your wife for life .. 💚💍💚. ”
Before making the knot with Morgan, Delaney was married to actor Joe Cortese from 1989 to 1994 and actor Charles Grant from 1984 to 1988.
She has history abuse, including an arrest in 2002 for drunkenness, a rehabilitation passage in 2003 and a guard battle in 2005 resulting from an endangered of her son’s alcohol.
