The battle for the Maharashtra is on. Thackerays in Pawars, many families are in scratch while the Western state elects the house from 288 members in one phase on November 20.
There is a competition between close relatives in at least five constituencies. Fathers and girls, uncles and nephews and even husband and wife face each other. Let’s take a look at families fighting the elections of the Maharashtra Assembly.
Pawar vs Pawar
It is an octane competition raised in Baramati. The leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Ajit Pawar, defends the siege he won seven times against his nephew, Yugendra Pawar.
Yugendra, who made her electoral debut, was organized by NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar). He is the son of Shrinivas Pawar, brother of deputy chief Ajit Pawar and is close to Sharad Pawar.

This is the second time that Baramati has witnessed a Pawar fight against Pawar. Earlier this year, the chief of the NCP (SP) and the daughter of Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule, beat Ajit Pawar’s wife, Suntra Pawar, during the Lok Sabha elections in the constituency.
Husband vs wife
Another interesting battle is brewing in the siege of the Kannad assembly in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
Harshvardhan Jadhav, who fights as an independence, is against his separate wife Sanjana Jadhav, a candidate Shiv Sena. The duo comes from political families.
Harshvardhan is the son of the former Kannad Congress MP, the late Raibhan Jadhav. Sanjana is the daughter of the head of the upper party of the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party and former Minister of the Union Raosaheb Danve.
Harshvardhan won the headquarters of the Kannad Assembly in 2009 on the Raj Thackeray Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) ticket. He challenged surveys on a Shiv Sena ticket in 2014 and won again. However, he left as a deputy in 2018 in the government’s treatment of the MARATHA quota in 2018.
According to his affidavit for the elections in the 2024 assembly, Harshvardhan said that he was “separated since 2019 but not yet divorced”. However, Sanjana mentioned “married” in her affidavit, reported Indian Express.
Other parents against each other
In the district of Sindhkhedraja, Rajendra shingne of the NCP (SP) is posed with his niece Gayatri shingne of the NCP led by Ajit Pawar.
Rahul Aher of the BJP fights against his brother Keda Aher, an independent, in Chandwad de Nashik.
The district of Aheri in the Gadchiroli district will see a competition between the Minister of NCP Dharmarao Baba Atram and his daughter Bhagyashree Atram-Halgekar, which was organized by NCP (SP). It will be a triangular fight while Aumrishrao Atram, the nephew of the quadruple deputy of DB Atram, is in the fray as an independent candidate.

Families in the surveys of the Maharashtra 2024 assembly
Shiv Sena (UBT) Chef Aadithya Thackeray, the son of former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, seeks to keep the district of the World. He is challenged by Millind Deora, member of Rajya Sabha of Shiv Sena, member of Rajya Sabha of Rajya Sabha of Shiv Sena, led by Eknde.
The maternal cousin of Aadithya, Varun Sardesai, is the candidate Shiv Sena (UBT) of the constituency of the East Assembly (Bandra). Siddic Zeeshan, the son of the late Siddic Baba, is looking for a re -election of the seat on an NCP ticket.
Raj Thackeray’s son and Aadithya’s cousin, Amit Thackeray, is in the race from Mahim’s headquarters in Mumbai. He is opposed to Sada Sarvankar of Shiv Sena and Mahesh Sawant of Shiv Sena (UBT).
The president of BJP Mumbai, Ashish Shelar, is in the fray of Vandre (Bandra) West, against Asif Zakaria of Congress. His brother Vinod Shelar is fighting on a BJP West disease post against the deputy for the Congress in office Aslam Shaikh.
It will be a fight on several corners in Islampur, where the chief of the Maharashtra NCP (SP), Jayant Patil, confronts Nishikant Patil de NCP, Amol Vikas du Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Satish Shivaji Date of Rashtriya Samaj Paksha (RSP).
In Karjat-Jamkhed, Rohit Pawar, the nephew and Grand-Bé of Ajit Pawar from Sharad Pawar, is the NCP (SP) candidate against RAM SHINDE of the BJP.
The nephew of Jayant Patil and former Minister of Maharashtra, Prajakt Tanpure, has been presented from the Ruhuri seat.
The Higher Minister of NCP, Chhagan Bhujbal, confronts his former friend, Manikrao Shinde from the NCP (SP), of the district of the assembly of Yeola. The NCP heavyweight nephew and former deputy Sameer Bhujbal is fighting Nandgaon as an independent.

Naik’s youngest son Sandeep presents himself from the district of the Belapur assembly on the NCP (SP) ticket led by Sharad Pawar against Manda Mhatre of the BJP.
Vijaykumar Gavit of the BJP fights against Kiran Tadvi from the Nandurbar headquarters. His daughter and former deputy Heena Gavit is a candidate independent of the district of Akkalkuwa. It is challenged by the Congress MP, KC Padvi and the AamShya Padvi of the SHIV SENA.
Vijaykumar’s brother Rajendra Gavit is the candidate for the Shahada congress, opposed to the BJP MLA seated Rajesh Padvi. His other brother, Sharad, is in the scrum as indictment of Nawapur. He faces the Congress MP, Shirish Naik and the Bharat Gavit of the NCP.
The sons of Narayan Rane Narayan Rane Nitesh Rane and Nilesh Rane are fighting Kudal and Kankavli districts on Shiv Sena and BJP tickets, respectively.
The Congress Amit Deshmukh and Dhiraj Deshmukh, son of former Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh, are respectively in the fray of Latur City and Rural Latur.
