Online influencer Andrew Tate Beat and smothered her ex-girlfriend at the Beverly Hills hotel, according to a civil trial she brought in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The model Brianna Stern, who appeared in the magazine Maxim Australia and Playboy, accused a sexual assault and battery, sexist violence, negligence and other actions that would have taken place during their 10 -month relationship.
Tate lawyer Joseph McBride described the allegations as false, accusing Stern to file the trial for a financial gain.
“This is a blatant cash outlet – a desperate attempt by a sad individual to exploit Andrew’s success and reputation for personal gain,” said McBride in an e -mail response.
The trial requests statutory and punitive interests that are not specified.
Tate, 38, former professional kickboxer and self -proclaimed misogynist who has raised more than 10 million followers on X, is currently accused of human trafficking in Romania with his brother, Tristan Tate. Both were recently authorized to return to the United States after Romanian officials have raised a travel ban.
Tate met Stern last summer in Romania. While the brothers were prohibited from leaving Romania, they invited models to meet them to help promote their cryptocurrency coin. One of these models was Stern, who wanted to promote his own cryptocurrency piece, according to his trial.
She joined a group that landed in the Romanian capital of Bucharest in July 2024.
But she says she was selected from other models and personally resumed by Tate in her car. The two led for almost three hours from his hotel to a Villa Airbnb in Transylvania where the cryptocurrency photo sessions were to take place.
During the car trip, Tate won Stern saying that he plans women from which he leaves and that she would no longer have to work if they were together, according to the trial.
During their relationship, Tate was kind and loving, but it was also cold and disdainful, she said in the trial. He called his derogatory names and said that she was his “property”, according to the complaint.
He said to him, “I punished you for your behavior” and “you have an attitude because you are not struck enough”, according to Stern.
Tate would follow his insults with loving text messages, according to screenshots of text messages included in the trial.
But Tate’s behavior ultimately became violent, according to Stern.
On March 10, the two spent the night together at the Beverly Hills hotel. He started beating her while they had sex, according to the complaint.
“At the start, sex was consensual, but things changed quickly,” said Stern in the costume. “Tate started to verbally degrade the applicant as he did regularly – but this time it was much worse, more aggressive and more violent. Tate then started to stifle the applicant.”
She started to cry and begged her to stop, but he smothered her until she almost lost consciousness, according to the trial.
He used one hand to suffocate her as well as the other to beat her several times on the side of his face and at the top of his head, said Stern.
“In doing so, Tate told him several times that if she crossed him, he was going to kill her,” said the complaint. “The plaintiff did her best to protect herself as she sobbed and pleads until Tate culminated and stops beating and suffocating her.”
He finally fell asleep, according to the complaint.
She wanted to leave right away but was too afraid. The next morning, she claimed that nothing had happened and then left, according to the complaint.
She asked for help from friends and saw a doctor, according to the trial. Stern said that she had been diagnosed with post-collaboration syndrome and that the doctor had told her to report the suffocation and the beat to the police.
But Stern said she was afraid and didn’t mean anything.
She included a screenshot of an SMS exchange in which Tate would have written: “If you never betray me, you will regret it.”
Stern replied: “Ok Crazy.”
“No, I’m serious,” he replied.
She was so afraid of having said that she had waited to submit a police report to the Beverly Hills police service until Tate left the country and until her sister could go with her to the police station, according to the complaint.
In a statement published on her Instagram account, Stern said she was still in love with Tate even if he had injured her. While they were together, Stern and Tate spoke of starting a family.
But after the blows, she said, she achieved the seriousness of her situation.
“It was the reality of my boyfriend and my life, and I had to regain control,” she said in her statement. “” You are my property “resonated in my mind and I knew that it was not the future I wanted for me or for my future children.”
Stern said she was “an emotional wreck and I am constantly looking over my shoulder”.
“This whole situation is very traumatic and extremely difficult,” she said. “I considered several times by leaving Andrew silently and saying nothing, doing nothing, because I was afraid and because it was honestly difficult for me to accept that I was mistreated. But I can now see that it would be a loose approach. ”
