The first votes were recorded in the elections to the European Parliament.
The official election dates are June 6-9, with most countries going to the polls on Sunday June 9. But Estonia is three days ahead, with voting allowed from Monday (from 9 a.m. online and from noon in person) until 8 p.m. Saturday.
Estonia will have seven members out of 720 in the next European Parliament.
Former Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu’s conservative Homeland party has led polls for six months by opposing green measures and calling for greater control over the construction of a rail network linking the Baltics to Poland.
