A typo on the name of Jason Kelce of 2011 returned to haunt the Eagles of Philadelphia before the draft of the NFL 2025.
In the latest episode of the New Heights Podcast, Jason and his younger brother Travis returned to the post of the Eagles (then Twitter) from the moment the center was drafted from Cincinnati.
Travis read the post, who said: “The #Eagles select C Jason Kelsey from Cincinnati with the 191st choice! Kelce’s younger brother immediately underlined the spelling mistake.
“Complete your name entirely,” said Kansas City comes out with a little laugh. “And now you are the biggest player to play in an Eagles uniform.”
Shortly after the release of the clip, the defending champions of the Super Bowl published a graphic of the tweet a photo of Kelce at the start of his career and wrote: “* Kelce. 6 days until we check the spelling of the NFL project.
Responding to his brother’s remarks, Jason disagreed with Travis calling him the greatest eagle in history. Jason also noted how he had to win everything throughout his football career.
The Eagles of Philadelphia have misized the surname of Jason Kelce online after writing it in 2011
“I firmly like that most of my career should be won,” he said. “It’s crazy how much I am overoff.
“I am not even close to the best eagle of my time with the Eagles,” added Jason after Travis laughed at his answer. “Fletcher Cox, Jason Peters, Lane Johnson. There were so many people who meant more for victories and losses and who were better players.
“I couldn’t block Fletcher Cox one by one. This is a legitimate thing, “said Jason.
“The credit I obtained was because of the work that was put. They did not know how to spell my name at that time, but they know how to spell it now.
Kelce retired in 2023 after 13 years with the birds, a Super Bowl title, six All-Pro leaders from the first team and seven pro Bowl selections.
