The Eagles added a quarter to the sixth round of the NFL 2025 recovery.
Kyle McCord, who played in Syracuse last season after the transfer of Ohio State, went to the Eagles with the 181st choice in total.
McCord led the Buckeyes to a departure of 11-0 in 2023, but after a defeat against Michigan, the Buckeyes lose self-confidence, he transferred to Syracuse. Although he played with much less talent around him in 2024, McCord had a strong season for Syracuse, launching 4,779 yards with 34 affected and 12 interceptions, and went 10-3 as a starter.
Jalen Hurts is the undisputed starter in Philadelphia, but McCord will have the chance to compete with Tanner McKee and Dorian Thompson-Robinson for a rescue work behind Hurts.
