A driver traveling in the wrong direction on Friday evening on a road to Santee died after colliding with another vehicle, said the sheriff’s office in San Diego.
The Sheriff’s office said that a man driving a black Honda was heading in the wrong direction around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Mast Boulevard when he crashed into a white SUV of Lexus.
The two occupants of the Lexus were transported to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries, said the sheriff’s office. The deputies did not say that if drugs or alcohol were involved, only that the witnesses saw the Honda move at a high speed before the accident.
