Walnut Creek – Police investigate the death of a man whose vehicle struck a tree on Ygnacio Valley Road early Saturday morning.
Walnut Creek police provided little information about the accident, saying to a press release that it took place around 2:40 a.m. on Saturday. An unpertified vehicle moved to the east on the Boulevard de la Vallée de Ygnacio when, for an unknown reason, it crashed into a tree, just west of North Main Street.
No other vehicle was involved and the driver, the only occupant of his vehicle, died on the scene. Walnut Creek police said that no other detail would be published during the weekend, including the identity of the deceased.
