The former Battlefield producer David Goldfarb reacted to a new battlefield 6 game clip, saying that he gives off Vibrations of Bad Company 2. For what it’s worth, the game is not necessarily called Battlefield 6, but that’s what we use until EA gives him an official title.
“Oh the BC2 vibrations it gives me,” said Goldfarb, adding that the images (below) give him flashbacks on the first Arica Harbor card, very popular with dice.
Goldfarb added that the player’s movement in Battlefield 6 clip disclosed seems “a little bizarre”, adding that the character’s design “seems very generic”. Gameplay images show a player fighting through the buildings and compete against a tank on the ground that blows his blanket. These are brand battlefield stuff.
Goldfarb left the dice in 2012 after working on Mirror’s Edge, Battlefield: Bad Company 1 + 2 and Battlefield 3. He then moved to Overkill to become the Director of the Game for Payday 2. He is now the creative director of the studio and CCO of the developer belonging to Funncom The Outsiders.
The images stem from the Battlefield laboratory test program, so what we see is unfinished and has never been supposed to be seen publicly because laboratory tests prohibit people to share images. Despite this, many gameplay videos of the Labs program emerged during the weeks and months. You can register for Battlefield Labs to give you a chance to move on to a future test.
EA will officially unveil the new battlefield game this summer. As for its launch, it is due to the liberation by the end of March 2026, but now that GTA 6 has been delayed, some their that can be released this fall.
