Homicide detectives investigate after a man in their twenties was found dead in an apartment in San Marcos.
The incident is the subject of an investigation by the Homicide Unit of the Sheriff of the County of San Diego because the authorities found that the nature of death was suspect, said Lieutenant Juan Márquez.
Sunday around 3 p.m., the deputies were called in the apartment located on Armorlite Drive, opposite the Palomar College.
The victim was found alone in the apartment with a trauma of his body, said Márquez. More details are waiting for autopsy, he said.
When asked if there were suspects, Márquez said, “For the moment, we don’t think there is a danger to the community.”
The deputies ask anyone who has information on the incident to call his homicide unit to (858) 285-6330. Appellants wishing to remain anonymous can call crime caps to (888) 580-8477.
