A delta flight broke out in chaos on Saturday when two pigeons were discovered in the main cabin of the plane, the video of pandemonium emissions.
According to an Instagram post from another passenger, Tom Caw was the passenger who spotted the first pigeon before the plane of the Minneapolis-Saint-Paul International Airport. CAW said the pilot announced the observation of the pigeon and had returned the plane to the door so that the bird was removed.
While the flight had to take off, a second pigeon emerged and stolen in the main cabin alley, the video CAW published on Instagram and NBC News obtained shows. The bird prompted several passengers to scream.
“Pilot said that when he had the radio the control tower about us when he came back because of a pigeon, the guy said it was a first for him,” Caw wrote. “The pilot told him that it was the second time for him – the first being half an hour earlier.”
Delta published a declaration apologizing for the disruption of the flight, which was heading for Madison, Wisconsin.
“Delta appreciates the prudent actions of our employees and our customers to safely withdraw two birds from the plane before departure, and we apologize to our customers for the delay in their trip,” the company said in a statement.
CAW said that a prime contractor had removed the second bird.
“I guess the pigeons were tired of flying and wanted snacks,” he wrote on Instagram. “They did not know that this flight to MSN is too short for Delta to offer drinks / snack services.”
