OpenAI’s ChatGPT will soon have its own voice assistant, but Daily show host Desi Lydic is not at all impressed
In the clip above, she plays a section of the GPT-4o demo video, which shows a man in an OpenAI hoodie chatting with a female-voiced AI who seems very happy to talk to him.
“It’s clearly programmed to feed guys’ egos,” sighs Lydic. “It was obvious she was faking as soon as she put on that hoodie. You can really tell a man built this technology. She says, “I have all the information in the world, but I don’t know not”. Nothing. Teach me, daddy.’”
