The Competition Committee had a “stormy” meeting on the limitation of the proposed Tash push

The competition committee met on Sunday to examine the various rules of rules offered among the teams. The elephant in the room is the room which takes place as a collision between two hippopotams.

Via Kalyn Kahler of Espn.com, the committee had a “heated»Discussion concerning the proposed adjustment of packers to the push of Tash.

The title of the article indicates that the proposal has “support” within the competition committee. It is not known whether the committee made an official recommendation to the owners to act on the proposal of Green Bay.

There are nevertheless strong feelings about the current rule, which led to the reduction of Eagles which essentially shrink the distance between the orange sticks.

“It’s weak,” a director of the anonymous team in Kahler told Kahler. “He punished a team that became excellent to perform the game. In 2022, when Philadelphia was the only team to do so, it was worrying that it made the game less convincing because the fourth and shorts were more doubt. Then, other teams copied it, and they cannot do it as well …. it is in doubt of jealousy.”

The momentum for a change was triggered by the NFC championship incident, when several offside faults by commanders almost led to the attribution of a touchdown in the “Palply actual act” language of the Rulebook. A source described the result in Kahler as a “shit”.

The debate on change could also become one. Kahler reports that, on Sunday, the Eagles GM Howie Roseman, the assistant GM Jon Ferrari, and the coach of the Rams Sean Mcvay and the coach of the Bills Sean McDermott had a “private and animated secondary conversation” on the proposed change.

The proposal remains vague. As indicated above, it only prohibits an “immediate” push after the Snap. It does not prevent a second act push, after the first push by the offensive line. Thus, insofar as there are concerns about the appearance of the room, the current rule will not change much, if at all.

Having to hover over the entire discussion is the fact that nothing will change at least that at least 24 teams want this to change. If at least nine teams are good with the status quo, Tash’s push is not going. And if there is a fiery debate that cuts in both directions on the subject, it is difficult to imagine at least 75% of the owners deciding to change the room.
