Hassan Farhat Hassan Farhat was killed in an Israeli strike in the Sidon of Lebanon, the FDI confirmed on Friday morning.
Farhat was the commander of the western sector of Hamas in Lebanon.
Two additional people were also killed during the strike, the Hezbollah affiliated news channel reported Al Mayadeen.
During the war, Farhat was responsible for many terrorist plots, in particular by launching rockets in Safed, killing the sergeant of the Omer Sarah Benjo staff in February and injuring several others.
FDI activity in Lebanon
In February, the FDIs withdrew from southern Lebanon, but maintained and maintained five new outposts in Lebanese territory.
Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed The Jerusalem post TSAhal sources reported on Wednesday, which, given the in -depth destruction of villages in southern Lebanon, could take three to five years of reconstruction before there was something to come back for Lebanese civilians.
With many observers concerned about the fact that Hezbollah exploits this mass return of Lebanese civilians to return under the guise of being non-combatants, the realization of the extent of the destruction of Lebanese villages should delay such a threat.
