The co -owner of trash lingerie killed his brother to save an elderly mother in “ justified homicide ”

One of the owners of trash lingerie, a lingerie and costume store in Los Angeles, would have pulled and killed his brother to save their mother.

Los Angeles County Legalist said Robert Shrier, 61, died on March 7 from a torso hunting rifle injury in a private residence. The mode of death is homicide.

Randy Shrier, one of the co -owners of Lingerie Trash, confirmed at the time that Robert Shrier was his brother. Randy refused to comment on the case, saying that his family is still waiting for a final determination of the Los Angeles County Prosecutor’s Office. He was told that no accusation had been filed and that she had been tried a justified homicide.

The shooting took place around 1:25 p.m. in Bloc 400 on North Alfred Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Service. The family dispute started when a 61 -year -old man used a baseball bat to damage the personal effects and windows at his mother’s home and physically attacked her.

The woman called him 57 -year -old, who arrived to find his mother suffocated by her older brother, police announced. The younger son fired a warning shot with a hunting rifle, but the suffocation continued.

The 57 -year -old man “said he had no choice but to shoot his brother to save his mother’s life,” said police. The shooting was considered a “justifiable homicide, not a criminal homicide”, and the younger son was not arrested. Police refused to release their names.

The mother needed sutures for her head injuries, said the LAPD. The agency confirmed that no accusation linked to homicide had been filed with the office of the District of the County of Los Angeles.

“The shooter saved his mother’s life”, Lapd Det. Samuel Marullo told Ktla. “He had no choice but to kill his own brother. And to be smothered at the age of 80 while your face is broken in the ground? It would surely cause his death.”

The trash lingerie was founded in 1973 by a local shoe creator, Mitch Shrier, and his wife, Tracy, who are the parents of Randy. Mitch died a few years ago and the store is directed as a family business.

The violent altercation occurred near the family store on Boulevard La Cienega.
