The authorities of Vermont are investigating the death of Sophie Nyweide, a former child actor better known for her role in the film “Mammoth”, as a possible involuntary overdose, according to a press release published by the Bennington Police Department.
Nyweide, who appeared in the 2009 novel drama alongside actors Gael García Bernal and Michelle Williams, was 24 years old at the time of her death. A press release published in Today.com revealed that the child’s actor had been found insensitive on April 14 in a wooded area in Bennington, Vermont, and that an investigation into his death is “fluid”.
“We are still awaiting the final reports of autopsy and toxicology of the Vermont office of the medical examiner,” the statement said.
The police said that an individual cooperating with the investigators was present with her on the scene and contacted 911. When the police arrived, they tried to save rescue measures.
“Investigators are studying this as a possible overdose possible,” said the press release. “As with any premature death, Bennington Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) will conduct an in -depth and compressive investigation leading to, as well as the cause of the death of Nyweide. This investigation remains open and there are no additional details at that time.”
An April 17 Billology in honor of the life of Nyweide did not specify his cause of death but described it as a deeply creative and confident person who has faced important personal struggles.
“She was medicated to cope with all the trauma and the shame she held inside, and that resulted in her death,” said Blower. “She said on several occasions that she” would manage this “alone and was forced to reject the treatment that could have saved her life.”
Nyweide, whose most recent acting credit is “Noah” (2014) with Russell Crowe and Emma Watson, is described as a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a friend and a new aunt. We remember him as a writer and “voracious” artist whose newspapers and drawings would have been “roadmaps” of his pain.
“Even with these roadmaps, diagnoses and its own revelations, those that are closest to her, as well as therapists, officers responsible for the application of laws and others who tried to help her at the heart of their efforts could not save her from her fate.”
The fire actor divided his time between New York and Burlington, Vermont, where she was born. According to her Billology, she became a competitive snowboarder at the age of 5 and finally expressed great interest in acting.
“She also did so with ease, we all amazed,” continues the Necrology. “She seemed the happiest in a shoot, becoming someone else. It was a safe place for her and she savor the casts and the crews that nourished her talent and her well-being.”
Beyond the game, Nyweide was an enthusiastic traveler who liked to pick up languages and customs.
“Sophie. A life ended too early,” notes the Billology towards her conclusion. “That it is not in vain. May we all learn from his brief life on earth and do better. Yes, we must all protect our children and do better. ”
