The chief of Nvidia says that the controls of the American fleas on China have returned against him

Washington legislators have worked for years to limit China access to cutting -edge computer flea necessary for advanced artificial intelligence, in particular those manufactured by Nvidia, the first manufacturer of American chips.

Washington’s efforts have given Chinese companies “the spirit, energy and support of the government to accelerate their development,” Huang said, who attended a technological conference in Taipei this week. “Overall, export control was a failure.”

From 2022, under the former president Joseph R. Biden Jr., the American government imposed rules to limit the export of the most powerful tokens in Nvidia in China. Nvidia responded by modifying a type of chip, making it less powerful so that it falls below the government’s performance thresholds. Last month, NVIDIA revealed that US officials demanded a license for future sales of these fleas in China, forcing the company to take a $ 5.5 billion in the inventory it had already planned to sell.

Although the Huawei tokens cannot do everything Nvidia can work well enough to help Chinese companies provide AI services to people and businesses. In recent months, the Beijing Government has prompted companies to store their data centers with chinese chips.
