There is more debate on the fact that AI will move human workers.
How many workers? This is another question.
And here is an estimate of The CEO of Salesforce Marc Benioff: He says that up to 50% of the work of his corporate software company is now carried out by AI.
This quote comes from a recent interview with Emily Chang de Bloomberg. And if it looks like a number that invites some skepticism, You are not alone.
To start, Benioff is a seller who loves major events, major buildings and major claims, you might expect that there is an exaggeration that happens here. Perhaps he is trying to win back investors, who lowered Salesforce’s shares by more than 18% in 2025.
Or, more practically, you may be wondering what will happen to the 76,453 dirty people said that it used in January 2025-should we expect to see up to 50% of them are dismissed?

Zoom in a little and it is easy to see another problem for Salesforce – and many other companies – if Benioff’s complaint is even close to real: if Salesforce automates a lot of work done by humans, then its customers are certainly also – so these customers will need less Saleforce products?
