Instacart CEO, Fiji Simo, joins Openai as CEO of applications, the Chatgpt manufacturer announced on Thursday. Simo, already a member of the board of directors of Openai, will go to Instacart in the coming months and will join the company of AI full later this year.

Simo has years of experience in product management and monetization. In an article on X, Simo said she would remain president of the Instacart card. In a letter to the employees of Instacart, she said that a current member of the company’s management would replace her as CEO and that an announcement would soon be made.
