Doug Kiker’s cause of death was disclosed a month after his shocking death.
The American idol died of an overdose of accidental opioids, according to the report by the medical examiner of the city and the county of Denver obtained by TMZ.
Kiker would have died with a toxic drug cocktail in his system, the report stressing that his cause of death was due to the “combined toxic effects of fentanyl, methadone and amphetamines, with a recent consumption of cocaine”.

Kiker died on March 10 at 32.
He was known as “The Singing Garbage Man” of season 18 of “American Idol”.
Kiker’s sister Angela Evans confirmed her death in an article on emotional Facebook on March 12.
