A vehicle hit the front of a Jolla company early Tuesday in a burglary, causing thousands of dollars in losses and the death of several fish in a glasses store, the San Diego police announced.
The incident was reported around 4 a.m. in Eyestruture, a glasses store on Prospect Street.
An aquarium in the store was broken, leading to the death of the fish it contained, the police said.
Police said the damage and stolen goods have resulted in about $ 100,000 in losses.
The vehicle has moved away from the scene. The police had no description of the vehicle or a suspect.
Attempts to reach eystructure have not succeeded.
