- Was in Perth for comment functions
- Make a faux pas of fashion during the day
- His former teammate came to the rescue
Jordan Clark was not only an engine of Fremantle’s victory over the Adelaide Crows on Anzac day, he also saved the bacon of former Geelong Star Joel Selwood in comments.
Andrew Brayshaw and Caleb Serong organized a Midfield Masterclass to lead Fremantle to an 18-point Anzac victory over Adelaide at the Optus stadium.
Brayshaw accumulated 37 eliminations, six clearances and 522m won while Serong collected 32 possessions and 10 authorizations during the Friday evening match while Fremantle displayed a victory of 12.13 (85) to 9.13 (67).
An exceptional crowd of 53,048 presented itself for the Fremantle Len Hall Annual Hall match, Brayshaw winning the inaugural medal of Arthur Leggett like Best Afield.
But Clark was the real MVP of his old geelong skipper and good friend Selwood, after coming to the rescue after a large fashion mixture.
In the conclusion of the match, the Channel 7 panel revealed that Selwood was held behind the podium with bare feet.
Joel Selwood carried a relaxed outfit for his functions of previous comments, but needed a costume for the concert in Perth

Selwood reveals his bare feet as he returned the shoes to Jordan Clark that he had to borrow
This is because he had removed the shoes he had to borrow from Clark before the match – with a belt.
Selwood revealed that he had obtained the memo that analysts would wear costumes and not relaxed clothes on the morning of the match, rushing to find shoes at the last minute.
“It’s a difficult day when you read your messages and find out that you wear costumes tonight instead of the relaxed kit,” said geelong champion.
Clark said he caught up with Selwood that morning before receiving the frantic call.
“I thought, what is he calling me?” He said.
“At 3 pm too, so I jostled myself,” added Selwood.
“I thought who was closest, Jordan lives just around the corner, size 11 R&M.
“What is chic is that I was a little worried what it would look like. But thanks to Jordan’s partner, Paige, who is in class, all of this was polite when I arrived at home.

Clark and Selwood are always very good friends after their three seasons together in Geelong
Clark and Selwood remained tight after the Fremantle skipper left cats in 2021.
Since then, he has shook a series of serious injuries and a drop in shape to find his feet on the dockers.
Dockers coach Justin Longmuir questioned his team’s tenacity following the 10 -point defeat last week against Melbourne.
But there was no doubt about Fremantle against crows, players regularly put themselves in danger for the good of the team.
“It was a good answer,” said Longmuir about victory.
“We spent a good week, and they had a steel resolution in the warm -up, and they were really determined to bounce back.
“It was great to see us jumping into the game like that. I thought it was a really solid performance, and I think it was a performance that we can build.
