The California women’s basketball team forced to compete with Trans Player while Woke State defies Trump’s order

A California’s high school basketball team will face a transgender athlete in an eliminatory match this weekend-despite President Trump’s recent decree prohibiting trans women from participating in female sports.

San Francisco Waldorf player Henry Hanlon, who is a biological man, triggered controversy last month after achieving a dominant performance of 29 points against a rival school.

And now, despite the recent order of Trump – which applies to athletes in the programs receiving federal funding – Cornerstone Christian will face a transgender player in a eliminatory match this weekend.

Fox News Digital, which reported the news, did not name Hanlon, but mentioned that the athlete had also played volleyball, which is true for Hanlon.

“As long as the parents are on board to play the game, we will support girls’ hard work this season and will play the game,” said Cornerstone Christian Sports Director Madison Alexander at Fox News Digital.

Hanlon also played for the San Francisco Waldorf volleyball team in the fall, leading Stone Ridge Christian to give up a series of playoffs in November.

President Donald Trump issued an executive decree prohibiting transgender women from participating in female sports

A transgender basketball player almost outrained an entire female team last month

San Francisco Waldorf is a private non -profit school, although at least a school in the Central League of the Bay Centias League in which he plays, Pescadero High School, is public. It is not clear if San Francisco Waldorf obtains federal funding.

Virginia’s prosecutor General Jason Miyares previously quoted Virginia High School League – which is made up of private and public secondary schools – as an organization that should comply with Trump’s order, according to ESPN.

In addition, the measure should not affect many athletes at the college level, because the president of the NCAA, Charlie Baker, said at a hearing of the December Congress that there were less than 10 trans athletes in the NCAA .

Nevertheless, San Francisco Waldorf is not the only school in California which continues to allow Trans athletes to participate.

According to Fox News Digital, the Trump Ministry of Education and Office of Civil Rights is currently investigating California Interscholastic Federation for having challenged its order.

“CIF defines the parameters in which schools are competing in these qualifying series, and they have responsibility as beneficiaries of federal funds to comply with title IX. The OCR survey on CIF continues because it seems that CIF’s contempt for Title IX continues ” said Candice Jackson, Deputy Adjoat of the Doe.

While California high schools continue to challenge Trump’s order, Californian politicians tried to take matters into their own hands.

Friday, the member of the Bill Essayli assembly presented a bill that would require high school students, when they are on the school field, to play only in teams that correspond to their biological gender.

A law has been in place in the state since 2014 which allows students – including university athletes – to participate in sports according to their gender identity, ”Regardless of the genre listed on student recordings.
