the building of the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic hit by gunfire – RT in French

Several explosions occurred at the executive building of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian agency RIA Novosti reported.
The mayor of Donetsk Alexeï Koulemzin successively reported, on September 18, strikes in the city center then a “direct shot” on the building of the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
According to the RIA Novosti agency, citing the DPR coordination center, three rockets coming from a multiple launcher hit the building and its surroundings.
The acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, later said in a video posted on Telegram that “civil infrastructure [avaient été] destroyed following a bombing” but that no casualties were to be deplored, according to preliminary information.
Later in the day, Mayor Alexei Koulemzin, however, indicated that a Ukrainian bombing of the Petrovsky district had killed a man in his thirties.
Since 2014, Donbass has regularly suffered artillery strikes from the Ukrainian armed forces, which was one of the main arguments justifying the launch of the “special military operation” by the Kremlin. A report from the United Nations High Commissioner dated January 27, 2022 claimed that 14,000 civilians and soldiers had been killed between April 14, 2014 and December 31, 2021.
