The bosses cut bad artists – so it may be time to work harder

The bosses are based on empathy. Some people want their workers more often to go to the office and are interested in the requirements of the mental generation aware of mental health that wants the balance between professional and privacy.

The workers, on the other hand, struggle with the flexibility of the pandemic era which they are ready to abandon.

“Maybe the bosses say that I don’t have to endure this millennial or generation Z thing,” said Galvin. “There is a common thread below all of this, and it is the tension between the boss and the worker.”

Employers’ market

The dynamics of power between employers and employees is a constant pendulum, and it can swing at any time.

“Once someone breaks this barrier, then everyone begins to break this barrier,” she said. “It is really not a question of punishing someone for buying a toothpaste – it is a question of ensuring that everyone knows that there is a line that you do not cross.”

Protect oneself

Mona Mourshed, CEO of the non -profit generation of employment, told Bi that workers can protect themselves in a turbulent environment by investing their time in new skills, especially to learn more about the tools of Ia.

“What is very clear is that in each company, there are people who are power users, and everyone is sowing or not really using it,” She declared. “We must all understand how to get the most out of it.”

Mourshed also recommended that you have exposure to different parts of the company with projects or teamwork.

“Do this because, essentially, it allows you to have interfunctional skills,” she said. “In your team, there could be disturbances, but it may create an opportunity in another team from the same organization, or potentially another.”

What is very clear, said Mourshed is that “doing the same thing for a decade is a model of the past”.

Lucas said that not all companies will launch small indiscretions, but that if an employer seeks to let people go, those who make minor schemes could be the first on the list.

“My advice to employees is to realize that you must be a good worker – this is called work for a reason,” said Lucas. “Maybe working harder. Maybe it’s not time to ask for additional advantages and additional flexibility.”
