The biggest astrological event will take place later this month

It’s not over, friends.

Although much has been made of the emotional effects and devastation of Monday’s total solar eclipse and the communications breakdown of Mercury retrograde in Aries, the best and worst are yet to come.

On April 20, Uranus – the planet of chaos, freedom, change and lightning – will meet Jupiter, the planet of expansion and growth, in the faithful, landlocked sign of Taurus.

During a conjunction like this, the energies of both planets combine, amplifying the qualities of both. When the wild and suddenly changing planet meets the forces of fortune, the results are bound to be dramatic, and breakthroughs and collapses will be near.

According to astrologer Jessica Davidson, “Jupiter-Uranus alignments represent periods of growth and disruption in multiple areas, including breakthroughs and innovation in science and technology, new creative ideas and philosophical awakenings, revolutions political, social rebellions and demonstrations with a desire for reform and protest. more freedom and equality. Since this conjunction occurs in Taurus, we may also see new beginnings and rapid changes in finance, agriculture, food production, values, and our relationship with nature.

Uranus/Jupiter conjunctions occur approximately every 14 years.

The last time Uranus and Jupiter danced side by side was in 2010 under the sign of Aries.

This conjunction coincided with the Arab Spring, WikiLeaks’ release of documents detailing US war crimes, and the launch of SpaceX.

What can we expect?

The last time this conjunction took place in the sign of Taurus was in May 1941; this cycle coincided with the end of the blitzes (it is not for nothing that blitz means lightning in German, which the god Jupiter brandished and which Uranus led), the birth of the radical and radically popular Bob Dylan and the decipherment of the enigmatic code.

The effect of this conjunction will be felt for several weeks. As Taurus is a fixed earth sign, on a collective scale, and to support Davidson’s observations, we will likely see change, growth and unrest in areas related to the Earth itself – the tremor last week’s earth, literally an earth in turmoil, was a symbol of what is to come.

On a personal level, Taurus is linked to our self-esteem and to all the signs of the zodiac, but particularly to those which fall into a fixed modality; Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius can experience crisis and catharsis when it comes to defining who they are and what they deserve.

Under these skies and this conjunction, anything can and will happen.

Keep your head up and your mind open. Change is coming and there is freedom to be found when everything falls apart.
