After almost two years of waiting, one of the best Netflix shows has just released its second season, and it is great. If you like high octane index action, harmful terrorist plots and intense espionage, you will enjoy.
The night agent is a spying thriller without frills and unpretentious that should appeal to all those who love the genre. He combines a competent intrigue with a nice casting of heroes and bad guys. The second season is now available on Netflix, but if you’ve missed the first one, you should absolutely start there.
Season 1 of The night agent Presents the Secret Night Action program, a top-secret federal team of spies who are investigating corruption in the United States government, finding moles and double agents within the CIA and even the upper levels of power .
The story follows Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) who is entrusted with a telephone response work in a secret room of the White House. He is essentially the distributor of Night Action, but he soon finds himself taken in a plot that extends to the oval office. He meets Rose (Luciane Buchanan) after receiving a distress call, and from there, things go from bad to worse. The duo is faced with double crossings, intense prosecution and much more when they try to stay alive and discover who shoots the strings.
Season 2 adds some new layers of complexity to the mixture, juggling with several secondary intrigues filled with intrigue, international espionage and even more disastrous issues. Just like the first season, this is a series that does not try to be super sexy or super intelligent, but which carries out its espionage work with professional efficiency.
