- Here are our choices for the best billionaire outfits this year.
The Met Gala, probably the biggest fashion event of the year, took place on Monday, and his guests on list A came dressed to impress.
Several billionaires attended the annual fundraising event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
This year’s theme was “Superfine: Capture of black style“And the dress code was” suitable for you “.
In a sea of outfits inspired by men’s clothing, some participants stood out for the right ones – and bad – reasons.
Here are the outfits that we thought we had nailed the theme and those who missed the brand.
Best: Grace Murdoch and Wendi Murdoch

Wendi Murdoch, entrepreneur and ex-wife of the Rupert Murdoch media tycoon, dazzled the Met Gala with his daughter, Grace. They both wore adjusted white sets.
The two -piece set of Wendi included a gold embroidery and a high collar recalling a Chinese qipao. She completed the look with white laces boots, a white bag and a gold helmet.
Grace’s look was simpler – a tight blazer, a pleated skirt, a plug of feathers and a white handbag.
Worse: Gustav Wizoe

The Norwegian billionaire Gustav Witzoe arrived in an all white whole and a clear case that seemed to be filled with rose petals.
THE A pure blazer-blazer hybrid dragging behind him, and his look was completed by accessories, including a white cowboy hat, boots and gold jewelry.
The outfit looked a little more fanciful than we would have liked it.
Best and worse: Mo Pritzker (Best) and John A. Pritzker (worse)

Billionaire investor John A. Pritzker and his wife, Mo Pritzker, arrived in full outfits.
The combination of Smoking and Ultra-Simple tie of John Pritzker seemed out of the Met Award Met.
He was also completely overshadowed by Mo Pritzker, who wore a long dazzled blazer twin With a flared black tulle skirt.
Best and worse: Mellody Hobson (Best), George Lucas (worse)

The billionaire filmmaker and philanthropist George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, Chairman of the Starbucks Board of Directors, came to the Gala in very different combinations.
Hobson’s gray tweed suit scintified as it was walking, and it was armor with pins and chains.
Her husband, however, kept him as simple as possible in a navy blue suit without frills, which would be more at home at Wall Street than at Met.
Worse: Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian, a businesswoman and media personality, stuck to her wardrobe tight pieces. She has also kept her usual Corseted silhouette, which she wore almost all the gala lately.
She wore a two -piece leather texture set. The top had a low heart neckline and a shape of corset, and presented an open back fixed with a belt clasp.
It has accessorized with diamond necklaces, earrings, chains and rings, and sported a high -end black hat.
The outfit corresponded to the theme, but felt without imagination.
Worse: Tory Burch

The Creator Billionaire Tory Burch was wearing a simple maxi white dress with this year gala. She superimposed it with black pearl chains, which gave the outfit a spider look.
She kept the rest of the simple outfit with a black and white handbag and diamond earrings.
The outfit did not relieve the “tailor -made” theme too much.
Worse: Anthony Pratt

The Australian billionaire businessman Anthony Pratt was a show to see, standing out from the mass of the crowd dressed in black and white in his funky green suit.
The costume had the reuse-reduce recycling logo is stamped everywhere. He accessorized it with a dark green melon hat and a walking cane.
Our biggest scruples were the racing shoes he wore under the costume.
