‘The Bachelorette’ Star Ryan Sutter Says Wife Trista’s Absence Has Raised ‘Questions’ and ‘Concerns’

All is well.

“The Bachelorette” star Ryan Sutter is happy that his season 1 wife, Trista Sutter, is running the house after sharing some very cryptic messages about her whereabouts on social media.

The firefighter shared a new black and white photo of himself over the weekend, before revealing his longtime love is now home.

“They say absence makes the heart softer…. We found that to be true. It also makes the heart more grateful, more sympathetic, more grateful for what someone does for you, with you, to your side,” he captioned a selfie via Instagram.

“It brings questions, wonder and worry, then answers, peace and celebration. It brought time for reflection, plans, prayer and independence, but above all joy at its conclusion,” he continued. “A real joy. And that’s really what it’s all about.

He concluded: “Welcome @tristasutter We missed you…. #love #love #reunitedanditfeelssogood.

In one of the photos, Ryan and his family also posed on the beach in snorkeling gear.

Trista, for her part, returned to Instagram and revealed that she was “safe and sound.” She then revealed the couple – married in 2003 and parents to Maxwell, 16, and Blakesley, 15 – were currently on holiday in Mexico.

“Change of scenery,” Ryan captioned another photo. “I’m a mountain man who loves the sea. I don’t have much of it lately, so it was time to get out of dodging and find new perspectives after a long year of new schools, a new house, a lost dog and a full life. I think this place will do the trick…. #adios #life #love #family.

The couple didn’t reveal Trista’s whereabouts last week, but she joked about her husband’s cryptic messages. Fans, meanwhile, suspect she was filming a reality show.

“Damn it people. Can’t a girl go through a mental breakdown/breakup/midlife crisis/death/divorce in peace here?!” she joked via Instagram on May 25, sharing a photo of the family of four on their getaway. “Seriously, for those involved, I am safe and sound, happy and healthy, in love and grateful.” in the dark, good luck.

“An opportunity for perspective and personal growth presented itself and, with the unconditional support of my family and friends, I chose myself and bettered myself, knowing that my work as a stay-at-home mother and the end of my children’s school year needs were in the best and most capable hands,” she continued.
