San Jose – A person of interest was detained in connection with a stab on Monday in San Jose unheeded after a several -hour confrontation, the authorities announced.
The stab wound was reported just before 3:40 p.m. on South Bascom avenue, near Elliott Street, according to the Shadon Clara Sheriff’s Bureau. The deputies arrived to find a man suffering from an apparent injury by stab.
The victim was taken to a hospital in the region. An update on his condition was not immediately available.
Around 6:15 p.m., the sheriff’s office announced that a person of interest had been held in the knife.
“There is no threat to public security,” said the sheriff’s office in an article on social networks.
