The anti-pore foundation used by Reese Witherspoon makes my skin radiant

My skin has been problematic (sensitive, prone to breakouts, covered in hyperpigmentation) my entire life, and foundation has often been the only thing that can give me confidence on a bad day. I’m going to test (almost) any of them complexion product that I can get my dirty little hands on – I’m a self-proclaimed expert in the field. This made me very picky and impervious to hype or virality. In this case, however, it’s unfortunate, because I was incredibly late to the Dior Forever Skin Glow Hydration Foundation party.

This is one of Dior’s hero makeup products; He has a celebrity fan base that includes Reese Witherspoon, thousands of five-star reviews, and BeautyTok. Forever Skin Glow Foundation has a natural/dewy finish, medium coverage, long duration and resistance to summer weather.

The first time I used Dior Forever Skin foundation, I applied it on my desk, under the fluorescent lights overhead. Even in this harsh lighting, I thought I looked great: My skin tone was even, my pores a tenth the size they usually were, and my texture smooth, complemented by a natural-looking glow.

Even though I didn’t prep or set my makeup, it lasted the rest of the day. I ate lunch outside in 90 degree heat, finished my work day, and met friends for an outdoor dinner. My makeup looked the same at the end of the night as it did when I first applied it.
