To date, you have probably heard that some companies want to replace human workers with AI. Now, the CEO of one of the largest AI companies warns that AI could come for your work earlier than expected.
In an interview AxiosThe CEO of Anthropic, Dario Amodei, said that AI could “erase” up to half of all the input -level white collar jobs. Amodei, who directs the competitor Openai behind Chatgpt Claude’s rivalsaid that the resulting job loss would result in a peak of unemployment up to 20% over the next five years.
Just this week, Mashable covered a new reportWho noted that AI already affected the number of entry -level jobs in the technology sector and, in turn, young people who have just graduated in the labor market.
Amodei, however, says that it will become much worse than that.

According to Amodei, he is now expressed because he considers that he is the responsibility of AI companies to warn people. He says that governments and other AI competitors simply do not take it seriously or take to the public the potential problems that AI will bring.
