American singer Chris Brown was released on bail by a London court after being accused of inflicting an “uninsured attack” in a nightclub in 2023.
The winning star of a Grammy, who has not yet been invited to plead in the case, is able to start his world tour next month as planned as part of his deposit conditions.
He was arrested last week and later accused of serious bodily lesions on an incident during which he would have attacked a music producer with a bottle of tequila at the night club in Mayfair in London.
The 36 -year -old man was not present in Southwark Crown runs for the deposit hearing on Wednesday, during which the judge said he had to pay security fees of 5 million pounds Sterling in court.
Security costs are a financial guarantee to ensure that a defendant returns to court. Mr. Brown could be invited to lose money if he violated the conditions for release under bail.
The musician had been detained since his arrest in Salford last Thursday, and was initially refused the deposit on Friday.
But the deposit was granted on Wednesday, provided that it immediately pays 4 million pounds sterling, with another 1 million pounds sterling in seven days.
His tour should start in Amsterdam on June 8, with stadium and arena dates in Manchester, London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Glasgow later this month and in July.
The double winner of a Grammy is known for his hits as loyal, directing it and under influence.
Its next audience date is June 20, between the shows at the Cardiff principality stadium and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
He must abandon his passport if he does not travel on tour, said judge Tony Baumgartner.
Other deposit conditions include living in a specific address known to the court, without contacting the alleged victim, not visiting the band nightclub and not requesting international travel documents.
He will appear in court next month with his co-owner, Omololu Akinlolu, a 38-year-old man who performs under the name of Hoodybaby, also from the United States.
