Katie Thurston revealed via social media that his breast cancer has progressed at stage four and that his doctors also discovered that fatal disease has spread to her liver.
“After days of waiting, unfortunately, I discovered today that my breast cancer spread to the liver,” shared the former star of “Bachelorette” in an article on Instagram on Friday.
“It is quite small, but it puts me at the four stadium.”
In light of the new discovery, Thurston, 34, should start his “new treatment plan”, which will involve chemotherapy from April 4.
“I know that the fourth step may seem very frightening, and it can be,” she continued.
Despite its prognosis, the Alun ABC said that it was “very optimistic” as to its result because it is “triple positive” and the cancer places that the doctors found on its liver are “quite small and detected early”.
Earlier this week, Thurston told her disciples that she had planned a liver biopsy after her doctors in New York had ordered a Stam, an imaging test that checks the signs of cancer in the body and the tissues of the body.
“Unfortunately, in my case, he detected places on my liver which were a little suspicious,” she said via her Instagram stories at the time, in our opinion every week.
The reality TV star transferred his medical care to the city after moving from Los Angeles.
Thurston announced that it had been diagnosed with stadium breast cancer in February, shortly after celebrating Valentine’s Day with her husband Jeff Arcuri, now husband.
“Jeff took me to Hawaii and afterwards, we were going to travel the world before planting roots together in New York. But instead, my Vday has been to coordinate a place to live because I have to go back to the for more tests and treatments, “she wrote on Instagram at the time.
The former competitor of “Baccalaureate” shared that she “had a range of emotions” after the news.
“Boise. Anger. Sadness. Denial. And then the strength. Ready. Ready. I cried a lot. I even tried to make a video instead of this post and I couldn’t,” she added.
Thurston then married Arcuri earlier this month before starting the treatment of his breast cancer.
The couple got married during an intimate ceremony in their backyard in New York with just their present parents.
Thurston said to Us Weekly at the time: “Obviously, we wanted to plan a wedding, and there are a lot of emotions that come with chemo and impact and health, and we don’t know what next year.”
