The Director General of Eagles, Howie Roseman, has never played football and made her debut as an intern of Front Office with the team. And he says that it makes him look at his work differently.
When he was asked why he was so impatient to do trades during the project, Roseman said it came from having a different experience and a different state of mind from most NFL leaders.
“It is an example of being a foreigner, and looking at the league when I studied it, before getting into the league, then coming to the league and understanding that there were opportunities to become aggressive,” said Roseman. “With this also comes from the risks. All these movements do not always work, and it is probably more conservative just to stay pat, to stay where you are, whether with players from your team or during the project, and to see what is coming. When you exchange in a project, you have to face the consequences of who ends up being there. So you have to face this too.
Few people with a history of Roseman have become the Directors General of the NFL, but no one can contest the results of Roseman.
