The editorial staff of a quarter-Arrière in the seventh round worked well for the 49ers with Brock Purdy, and today they have started it again.
The 49ers drafted the quarter-rear of Indiana Kurtis Rourke with the 227th choice in total.
Rourke would probably have been a higher choice without the fact that he has torn his right ACL twice. Last year, he played all season despite his second LCA tear at the start of the season. He had it surgically repaired only when detected during pre-traf medical checks.
We do not know if Rourke will be allowed to play this season, and if he does it, he would be at best the third quarter-rear behind Purdy and Mac Jones.
Rourke was a quarter-BIG Ten-BIG quarterrier and led Indiana to a place in the university football playoffs. He could become a solid quarter of the NFL, and he will try to do it this year in the Kyle Shanahan offensive.
