Philadelphia – Giannis Antetokounmpo became the first player in the NBA history to have 35 points, 17 rebounds and a career summit of 20 assists while the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Philadelphia 76ers 126-113 Thursday evening.
Antetokounmpo helped the Bucks draw 51.6% from the 3 -point range. The Bucks won a victory on Tuesday against Phoenix in which they drew 68.9% of the field, the highest of an NBA match since 1998 and 58.6% at 3 points.
Antetokounmpo is the third player this season to have 30 points and 20 assists in a match, according to ESPN Research. Nikola Jokic and Trae Young are the others. Antetokounmpo is also the third player in the history of Bucks to have at least 20 assists in a match, joining Ramon Sessions, who had 24 in 2008, and Guy Rodgers, who had 21 in 1968.
Brook Lopez scored 17 points, Kyle Kuzma had 16 and Aj Green hit four 3 points for 12 points. Bucks coach, Doc Rivers, left the bench in the first half, citing a disease and looked at the locker room while assistant Darvin Ham took over.
The Bucks played their eighth match without Damian Lillard, sidelined by a veal injury diagnosed later as a deep venous thrombosis. Rivers said that the team had received an excellent report on the response to the treatment of the nine times from the stars and, “we have much more hope today than we did it three days ago” about their return this season.
