Despite the Packers spending a first-round pick on Arizona left tackle Jordan Morgan, Rasheed Walker is more confident than ever this offseason. Matt LaFleur also praised him for the way he approached the offseason, even though there may be some uncertainty about whether or not he’ll start at left tackle. What LaFleur and Adam Stenavich expected from Walker last season was consistency, and we started to see that at the end. In the last six games, including two playoff games, Walker has allowed just one sack and eight pressures, and that’s against pass rushers like Nick Bosa, Micah Parsons, Montez Sweat, Brian Burns and others. We often hear about the second-year leap, and while Walker is entering his third NFL season, this will be his second as a starter, so I think we’ll see a similar leap in development from him. For what it’s worth, throughout the offseason, Walker has dominated the starting left tackle reps. — Paul Bretl
