‘That is disgusting’ – Arsenal fans insist Bayern Munich star Harry Kane should’ve seen red for elbow on Gabriel

Harry Kane can count himself lucky to have avoided a straight red card for elbowing Arsenal defender Gabriel, according to these Gunners fans.

The 30-year-old almost went from hero status to zero for Bayern Munich after giving his side the lead from the penalty spot at the Emirates.

But he was lucky to stay on the field from the first minutes of the second half following a foul on Gabriel.

The England international came back at the Brazilian to try to buy a free-kick, but accidentally elbowed the centre-back in the throat.

Gabriel immediately hit the deck and Kane brandished a yellow card as VAR failed to get involved.

It was a move that angered Arsenal fans, who couldn’t believe the Tottenham legend had avoided further sanctions.

Taking to social media, one fan said: “This is disgusting from Harry Kane.”

Another posted: “That’s a red card for Kane. Elbow to the throat.”

A third added: “Disgusting deliberate elbow from Kane. Blatant red card all day!”

This fan then sent a message: “Classic Harry Kane on this foul.”
