The Receiver of the University of Texas, Isaiah Bond, returned Thursday morning on a mandate of sexual assault issued by the Frisco Police Service (Texas), according to a public information officer Frisco PD.
Bond, 20, was then released after having deposited a deposit.
Bond published a declaration obtained by the initiate of the NFL Ian Rapoport network.
“Regarding the accusation against me, I would appreciate the time and the opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, clearly false,” said Bond in the press release. “I am in full cooperation with the authorities and I will remain a participant disposed and active in the investigation. Unfortunately, affirmations like these prove harmful to all the complete examinations involved. I ask with kindly reserve judgment until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence.”
The Texas product has been widely planned as a selection of day 2 (second or third round) in the next draft of the NFL in 2025.
Bond, who played his years of first year and second year in Alabama, has just left a junior season with Texas in which he recorded 34 receptions for 540 yards and five affected.
