Terrorists who cost us billions of dollars were simply praised by Trump for their `bravery ” ‘

Terrorists whose disturbances cost the global markets nearly $ 1 billion in goods while forcing significant increases in navigation and insurance costs were praised on Wednesday by President Donald Trump for their “bravery”.

The Houthis, who sparked a civil war in Yemen, drew missiles over Israel and the Red Sea expedition since Israel began a military offensive against Hamas in Gaza after the fatal attack on terrorists on October 7, 2023.

The Houthis say that attacks on Israel will continue.

The Trump administration had continued attacks on the Houthis launched by President Joe Biden and, with more intense bombings, finally reduced an agreement from the group to leave the interests of American expeditions.

The latest bombing campaign cost the United States about $ 750 million in loss of military equipment and expenses.

Trump said on Wednesday that he would accept the word of the terrorists. Human rights activists had raised concerns concerning civilian victims.

“We had a very good result with the Houthis, and we honor their word,” he said. “We have treated with other countries which were their substitutes and we will honor all their words and we will see what will happen, but I think I hope it’s over, and they will leave the ships alone.

“We hit them very hard. They had a great capacity to resist punishment. They had a huge punishment. You could say that there is a lot of bravery there. It was incredible what they took. But we honor their commitment and their word. They gave us their word that they no longer drew ships and we honor it. ”

On Tuesday, during a press briefing with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Trump said that the Houthis said: “Please don’t bomb us anymore and we are not going to attack your ships.”

The US military said it had reached more than 1,000 targets during the current operation in Yemen, known as the Operation Rough Rider, which started on March 15. The United States said the bombings have killed “hundreds of Houthi fighters and many Houthi leaders”.

On April 28, an alleged US air race struck a migrant center in Yemen, and Houthi TV said that 68 people had been killed.
