Huge ash clouds of more than one mile high broke out from Mount Etna, triggered by an avalanche of boiling rocks which rush to the side of the volcano.
Terrified tourists visiting the Italian volcano were forced to present themselves for their life after a ginormous cloud of the ashes broke out behind them.
Despite the fled horror crowds, some passionate seismologists stopped by going down the gravelly slopes to turn around and take a quick photo of the monstrous clouds.
Residents of neighboring cities and cities could see the dramatic cloud starting to dominate the horizon, with ashes starting to settle on buildings and roads.
In a video, the shocking formation begins to erase the sun.
Tourists can visit ETNA 3300 m high in guided tours or access certain areas independently.
A red aviation warning has been briefly issued by the Toulouse volcanic consultative center, but has now turned to Orange.
The most active volcano in Europe had experienced a certain activity in the past hours with volcanic tremors felt overnight, but turned into “ explosions of increasing intensity ”.

The pyroclastic flow – an avalanche of burning ash which cracks in the slopes at a rapid and high density pace – does not seem to have passed the edge of the Lion valley, one of the slopes of Etna.
The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology of the Etnean Observatory, said that the pyroclastic flow was “probably produced by a collapse of material from the northern flank of the southeast crater”.
A “lava fountain” also started after the ash bomb, according to the Institute.
The disturbing ash cloud would be mainly composed of water and sulfur dioxide and “dried to the southwest”
THE The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology said earlier this morning: “During the last hours, the activity reported in the previous declaration published at 4:14 (3:14 BST) took place with Strombolian explosions of increasing intensity which, for the moment, are of strong intensity and almost continuous.
“In the past hours, the fall of a little thin ash has been reported in the Votore piano region.”
The terrifying volcanic tremor started just after 10 p.m. last night, reaching its peak three hours later at around 2.8 km under the crater.
A live broadcast of the volcano has captured the terrifying moment and users can watch the cloud go down to the island.

The activity calmed down during the last hour, but the threatening gray cloud is still visible.
Mount Etna, located on the eastern coast of Sicily, is one of the most active volcanoes in the world and has been going through a particularly active period for five years.
Last summer, the volcano caused chaos in neighboring airports when they were forced to limit and divert thefts while the pilots struggled with visibility.
A generally occupied Catania airport had to send flights to other airports on the island, such as Palermo and Comiso.
The arriving flights were reduced to six per hour and a section of the airport was closed, while local cities were also covered with black ash blanket.
The 500,000 -year -old volcano spatted lava during repeated hatching in May before today’s explosion.
Etna’s most destructive eruption covered 14 villages and cities with lava flows and volcano earthquakes.
The eruption, which lasted for several weeks, killed nearly 20,000 people, thousands of others made homeless, according to files of 1669.
